Santa Bob

I started my Santa calling after seeing my father In Law bringing joy to children and families as a Santa Claus. I have three children of my own, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. I love children! I took on the role of Santa Claus when my children were young and have continued for 45 years. This has made me enjoy Christmas more and more every year.

In my middle years I did not have the natural abilities to grow a white beard of my own. Over the years I noticed the disappointment on some of the children’s faces when a mischievous child would pull on my beard. I decided to grow it out and it came in nice and white and full. No more disappointment for the children and the beard gave me the opportunity to work at the downtown Macy's Department Store in Minneapolis.  This was during the last two years they were open. Here, I went through their training program and cleared all their background checks and honed my skills at talking with children of all ages.

Now in retirement from my career as an electrical designer, I am dedicating my time to being a Santa to children and families who like a personal and professional Santa. I am a Santa year around. I am also known as Father Christmas*, so if you are looking for a little something special for an event, look no further. Santa Bob can come by himself or Mrs. Claus (Rosie) would be happy to come. She adores children and is great with little ones who are shy around Santa, but will go to her with no problems.

*During the Fall I am Father Christmas at the Renaissance Festival, talking or posing for pictures. I am not employed by the Renaissance Festival, I just like to go and spread the joy.
